After getting his first 35mm SLR when he was twelve, Patrick became obsessed with creating images. He shot hundreds of rolls of film and made stop-motion animations and videos with a Hi8 video camera during his teen years, and excelled in photography in his high school years.
In 2003 Patrick attended the Trebas Institute’s Film and Television production program.
Relatively unsatisfied with his education he continued on a mission to make films and learn the craft. He spent nearly 8 years working side jobs, making videos, and learning. In 2011, he became a full-time freelance director, editor, photographer, and video producer. His first legitimate short film, AIDON, was screened at 6 festivals internationally. His 2nd short film GETTING READY FOR A LUNCH DATE was recently completed and has been screened at 12 festivals worldwide and won 2 awards.
In August 2015 he launched Kicking Tire Films, and Kicking Tire Studio,
He's passionate about film, the arts, collaborating and the community.
